New Buyer Leads — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
New Buyer Leads is operated by Smart Squad Security West LLC, doing business as Securacore (“Securacore,” “we,” “us”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when businesses use New Buyer Leads and when we compile lead information from public government records.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers:
- Users — people who are invited by a business customer to use New Buyer Leads; and
- Individuals appearing in public records — including buyers and sellers named in county property and sale records used by the Service.
Our business customers are responsible for their own marketing activities after they export or use a lead.
2. Information we handle about users
We collect information reasonably needed to operate the Service, which may include:
- account information, such as name, email address, organization, role, and invitation details;
- activity within the Service, such as leads reviewed, filters saved, exports, corrections, mailing activity, and returned-mail records;
- technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and error or security logs; and
- billing information if paid plans are offered.
Authentication may be handled by a third-party service provider. We do not intentionally store users' plaintext passwords.
If billing is handled by Stripe or another payment processor, the processor handles payment-card details. We do not intend to receive or store full card numbers.
3. Public-record lead information
The Service uses information that is lawfully available from public government records, including records published by Deschutes County and Crook County.
Depending on the source, that information may include:
- buyer or seller names;
- property address;
- tax mailing address;
- sale or recording date;
- sale price;
- parcel or account number;
- deed or transaction reference;
- property type and characteristics; and
- other fields published with the public record.
We may organize, filter, normalize, or display those public records so that business customers can identify recent property transactions relevant to their marketing.
We do not currently purchase phone numbers, email addresses, web-browsing data, credit information, or other enrichment data about homebuyers from third-party data brokers.
A customer may add its own corrections, selections, notes, or mailing history. Those customer-added records are available only to that customer's organization unless disclosure is required by law.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and operate the Service;
- authenticate users and manage organizations and permissions;
- apply customer filters and display or export leads;
- record workflow activity such as reviews, exports, mailings, and returned mail;
- provide support and communicate about the Service;
- detect errors, abuse, or security issues;
- bill paid customers, if applicable;
- maintain records needed for legal, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes; and
- improve the Service using aggregated or de-identified information.
We do not use user account information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell information that users provide directly to us.
5. When we disclose information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
To the customer's organization. Users, administrators, and owners within the same customer organization may be able to see account and activity information according to their role.
As part of the Service. We provide qualifying public-record lead information to business customers as part of the Service.
To service providers. We use service providers to host and operate the Service. Depending on the features in use, these may include:
- Vercel — application hosting;
- Supabase — database, authentication, and related account services;
- Stripe — payment processing and billing, if paid billing is enabled; and
- other providers we may use for email delivery, logging, support, or infrastructure.
These providers process information on our behalf subject to their agreements and applicable law.
For legal or safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate abuse or security incidents, or protect the rights and safety of Securacore, our customers, or others.
Business transfers. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business.
6. Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for account authentication, security, and basic operation of the Service.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising trackers.
A payment processor or other service provider may use its own cookies when you interact with its pages or embedded services.
If we later add analytics or other non-essential tracking, we will update this policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice or controls.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
In general:
- user accounts are retained while the customer's organization uses the Service;
- customer workflow history is retained while needed to provide the Service and for a reasonable period afterward;
- public-record source data may be retained while the Service operates;
- billing, tax, and transaction records may be retained for the period required for legitimate accounting, tax, legal, or dispute purposes; and
- technical and security logs are retained according to our operational needs and the retention settings of our service providers.
Backups may remain for a limited period after information is deleted from active systems.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Those safeguards may include encrypted connections, access controls, authentication controls, organization-level data separation, and logging or monitoring.
No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
If a security incident triggers a legal notification obligation, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
9. Your choices
Users
A user may contact the administrator of their organization or us to request correction or deletion of their account information, subject to records we reasonably need to retain for security, legal, billing, audit, or dispute purposes.
Removing a user's login does not necessarily remove historical activity that is part of the organization's business records.
Individuals appearing in public records
The Service generally displays information obtained from public government records. We cannot change the original government record.
If you believe information displayed by Securacore is inaccurate, or if you want to ask how information about a particular property is being handled, contact us at scott@mysecuracore.com and include enough information for us to locate the record.
We may correct our own processing or display of a record when appropriate. We may also direct you to the government source if the requested correction must be made at the source.
10. Oregon privacy law and public records
The Service is primarily built from information lawfully available in government records.
Oregon's consumer privacy law excludes information lawfully available through federal, state, or local government records from its definition of “personal data.” Oregon's data-broker registration statute also contains an exception for providing information lawfully available from federal, state, or local government records.
Those rules do not mean that every piece of information handled by the Service is exempt from every privacy or security law. Information supplied directly by users or customers, account credentials, private notes, and other non-public information may be subject to different rules.
11. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit account information from children under 13.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes.
If we make a material change to how we handle information, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
